To begin the New Year

Dear Lord,

Help us to seek you more,

Gratify our selfishness less,

Have a teachable spirit,

And a heart that loves you.

Lead us into a new year

With excitement,

Anticipation,

Dedication,

And love for each other.

Let us not resolve lightly

To do things that require

Commitment,

Courage,

Passion,

And perseverance.

Grant us days unencumbered

By worry, regret, and our past.

Give us your yoke instead

So that we may have peace

In the days of this New Year.

Amen.

GOOD NEWS 2012

The Burns Flat Cumberland Presbyterian Church has committed to reaching every school-aged child in our community by the end of 2012. 

This is the boldest commitment the church has ever made.  Here is our plan.

We will add to, re-think, revise, and repeat some of what is in here, but one thing is certain.

We will hit the deck running in 2012 and we will be delivering GOOD NEWS!
